What will we discuss at the assessment?

The assessment is the chance for you to ask any questions about any of the treatments and have these answered.
We will discuss what your main concerns are and how we can minimise these and meet your expectations.

Do I have to book a treatment at my assessment?

No. There is no obligation to book a treatment at any point in an assessment. We offer a cooling off period so you can have time to process and think about any procedure.
If you would like to book a treatment then can do so.

Will my information be kept confidential?

Yes, we follow in line with GDPR and will only share your information if you tell us too. e.g consent to using images for social media and marketing is asked on your consent form before every procedure.

What is a cooling off period?

This is when you are given time to process the information provided to you about a treatment or a bespoke plan before purchase.

Will it hurt?

For most injectable treatments we use topical anaesthetic to help minimise any discomfort. We also use special equipment to make the process as comfortable as possible. Patients are asked prior to any injectables to avoid alcohol and extreme heat for at least 24hrs as this can cause heightened sensitivity.

Will I get bruising or swelling?

This is common after any injectable treatment, for CIT this is very minimal. We ask a couple of things from patients prior and after treatment to minimise this. No alcohol for 24hrs, no steam room/sauna etc.

Is there any down time?

With most injectable treatments, collagen induction therapy and some skin peels there maybe down time. If after care is followed then this should keep it to a minimum.
This will be fully explained at your assessment.

Will  get spots?

After any skin treatment there is a risk of a breakout. We will provide after care to minimise this.

How long before I see results?
  • Most patients will see results from fillers immediately

  • Toxin can take up to 2 weeks to see full effects.

  • Most skin treatments that cause stimulation of collagen can take up to 3 months.

  • Skin care can take up to 6 months.

These are guides only and our Nurse will be able to advise you further.

Can I wear make up after my treatment?

Its advised not to wear make up for 24 hours to allow the skin to heal. Applying makeup may cause breakouts or an unwanted reaction.

What if I cant make my appointment?

We have a 48 hour cancellation policy where by your booking fee can be refunded. If cancelled after this the booking fee will be lost.

Is it safe?

Patient safety is our utmost priority and so all our treatments are carried out by our Nurse Dawn. All risks will be explained to you at your consultation.
TGC reserves the right to decline performing a treatment if the risks outweigh the benefits.

What age do I have to be to have treatment?

For skin treatments we can help from ages of 16, with parental consent.
For all injectable treatments you must be 18 years old.
If you look under 25 we will ask you for ID, so please ensure you bring this with you. Failure to provide this will mean we will not be able to carry out any treatment.

What if I have a complication?

Nurse Dawn will explain any potential complications prior to treatment.
In the event of a complication, you will be treated as soon as possible, and supported throughout until it is resolved.

How can I pay?

Booking fees must be paid prior to any appointment to secure it. The remaining balance can then be paid by card or cash in clinic.
